Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki takes win at Penticton Arenacross

Kyle Beaton grabs win
in Saturday’s Lites main event at round one of Canadian series

Kamloops, BC(November 14, 2011) The
2011-12 Future West Canadian Arenacross series kicked off this past
weekend at Penticton, British Columbia’s South Okanagan Events
Centre and the Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki team was back in
action with multi-time Canadian Arenacross champion, Kyle Beaton.

For Beaton, it was a great chance to
get some more seat time as he works his way back from major knee
surgery that forced him to miss the entire 2011 outdoor season.
Beaton proved that his form is coming back nicely as he grabbed the
first heat race win on Friday before waging a great battle with Kyle
Keast in the Lites main event, eventually finishing second. He
continued his strong riding on Saturday as he grabbed the win in the
Lites main event. Then in the Open main he was working his way into
second when he went down while trying to make a pass on Keast.

Said Beaton of his weekend, “It went
pretty good, got a win and won some motos. Just struggled with
starts. I’m a little rusty after sitting out for so long but I know
what I need to work on. The bike worked amazing, big thanks to the
team. I’m glad we were able to stay safe and move on to the next
challenge.”

With the Penticton arenacross race in
the books, that concludes the 2011 season for the Leading Edge team.
