Monster Energy/Babbitt's/Kawasaki Rider Brock Sellards Earns Two Arenacross Wins in Rochester

Irvine, Calif. (December 3, 2007) – Monster Energy/Babbitt’s/Kawasaki returned to the top step of the podium this weekend as Brock Sellards swept round four of the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y.

The event started off right for Sellards as he rode his Kawasaki KX™250F to the feature win on Friday night. The 29-year-old Sellards found himself one spot out of the lead, but he was able to force his competitor into a mistake and then pulled away for the win.

On Saturday night, Sellards once got off the start line in second and again his persistent riding forced the leader into a mistake. Sellards capitalized on the mistake to sweep the event. With the two wins, Sellards moves into fifth in the season standings with 111 points.

“It was a good weekend,” said Sellards. “It was nice to get some wins and build some momentum. The track in Rochester was a little narrow so we were dodging crashes most of the time. We’ve got four weeks off right now so I’m going to be working my butt off to get better and keep winning.”

The Monster Energy/Babbitt’s/Kawasaki team will now take a break for the holidays and will be back on track when the arenacross series resumes in early January.
