Michigan’s Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort teams with RedBud as MX National presenting sponsor

The 41 st National at “America’s Motocross Track” is now called the Red Bull RedBud National, presented by Soaring Eagle Casino Resort

BUCHANAN, Mich., (July 1, 2014) – Big news out of central Michigan this week as the Midwest’s premier resort – Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort – has joined forces with “America’s Motocross Track” – RedBud MX – as the presenting sponsor for the July 5th Red Bull RedBud MX National.

Voted as the Midwest’s “Favorite Casino” and “Best Overall Gaming Resort” (Midwest Gaming & Travel), the massive Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort sits right in the heart of Michigan’s mitten – Mt. Pleasant. Owned and operated by the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, Soaring Eagle is also known throughout the region for its superior live event promotion and production capabilities, which will bode well as RedBud MX and Soaring Eagle are also going to team up on a motocross event at the Soaring Eagle venue later this summer.

“Everyone at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is thrilled to team with RedBud MX and the Fourth of July Weekend National as the event’s presenting sponsor. With over 40 years of history in the sport of motocross, RedBud is synonymous with excellence in the sport here in Michigan and across the nation,” said Raul A. Venegas, Director of Marketing & Entertainment at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. “Along with this, given our relationship with RCH Racing and the fact we want to produce and promote our own motocross race here in Mt. Pleasant on the grounds of the casino, the synergy with RedBud MX was evident immediately and we’re looking forward to a mutually successful relationship in the coming years with RedBud MX.”

Fans purchasing a ticket at the Red Bull RedBud MX National, presented by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, will receive a $50 free play gaming voucher on the back of the ticket ($25 for returning Soaring Eagle gamers). And if you’re lucky you might see the RCH team, including Ricky Carmichael and Carey Hart, at the tables as they’ll be heading up to Soaring Eagle after the race to ride in a poker run on Sunday, July 6th! Poker Run is free to the public (must register), contact Soaring Eagle for additional details.

The RedBud/Soaring Eagle relationship will continue with a motocross event at the resort on Labor Day weekend, featuring a Friday practice day, Saturday amateur racing and Saturday night pro feature event. The track will be designed by Carmichael and built by legendary racer/track builder Mark “Bomber” Barnett.
