LeoVince Las Vegas Race Report‏

Richmond, Calif. - May 7, 2013 -At the 17th and final round of the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in Las Vegas, LeoVince-supported riders and teams delivered solid performances to end the season.

BTO Sports - KTM's No. 29 Andrew Short had another fantastic run in 450SX Heat 1, finishing fifth and easily advancing to the 450SX main event. When the gate dropped, Short battled back from outside the top 10 to finish in ninth position. Short ended his series effort in seventh position overall with 214 championship points. Matt Goerke, despite missing the last three rounds due to injury, finished the season 12th in the 450SX Supercross Series with 139 points.

With Motoconcepts Racing/Smartop's No. 800 Mike Alessi testing for the upcoming Lusas Oil Pro Motocross National Series and No. 23 Jake Canada injured, No. 67 Gavin Faith was the only team rider on the track in Las Vegas. Faith did not disappoint, grabbling the holeshot and early lead in the 250SX East main event. Faith rode his LeoVince X3 “Works” Carbon Fiber-equipped CRF250R to an impressive fifth-place finish. With his performance in Las Vegas, Faith solidified fifth position overall in the 250SX East Region Supercross Series. Alessi finished the 450SX Supercross Series in 13th overall, while Jake Canada completed the 250SX West Region Supercross Series in 18th place.

51Fifty Energy Drink riders Scott Champion and Chris Plouffe were representing in Las Vegas aboard their LeoVince-equipped Honda CRF250Rs. Champion rode his way to 16th position in the 250SX West Main Event, followed closely by Plouffe in 17th.

Another notable performance in Las Vegas was put forth by No. 66 Killian Rusk, who rode his Honda CRF250 to 14th position in the 250SX West main event.

Casey Hinson rode his LeoVince-equipped CRF450 to an 11th-place finish in 450SX Heat 1, forcing him into the Last Chance Qualifier, where he scored a seventh-place finish.

LeoVince-backed riders will now turn their attention and focus to the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship that kicks off in Sacramento, CA, on May 18th.
