Carlsbad, CA – Wednesday, February 18th 2009 – FMX phenom and television star of “Inked”, Carey Hart, is relocating Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company (H&H Tattoo) to Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this spring.
H&H Tattoo located at the Palms Hotel and Casino since 2004, recently decided to relocate to the Hard Rock once their lease ended. With Carey’s new rock club Wasted Space also located at the Hard Rock, it made sense to join forces and broaden his relationship with the property. H&H Tattoo’s new location at the Hard Rock will be double the size of the previous shop and feature some of the best artists in the country, while also hosting some of the best guest tattoo artists. The tattoo artists at H&H Tattoo pride themselves on offering a great customer experience for both veteran’s of the tattoo community and first time clients, as well as building the brand on great tattoo artwork. The new location will also feature an evolving computerized flash system, art displays by tattoo artists, and a larger retail area offering the latest Hart and Huntington designs and custom pieces.
Hart’s vision of both of his businesses, Wasted Space and H&H Tattoo under one roof will serve Hard Rock’s young, hip clientele and celebrities. Wasted Space, conceptualized by Hart, is a 5,000 square foot lavish rock club and concert venue that features high end rock culture and creates a one of a kind experience. It offers an intimate and exclusive backstage atmosphere while bringing some of the hottest up and coming bands to the infamous Las Vegas strip.
“The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has always been, and continues to be, one of the coolest and most high profile casinos in Las Vegas so it was a natural fit. We are one of the most high profile tattoo shops in the country so we chose to be in the highest profile casino in the country,” says Hart on the recent move. Over the years, H&H has also expanded beyond the Las Vegas area to include shops in Honolulu, Hawaii and Orlando, Florida.
“Carey is a respected businessman with creative vision and good taste,” said Phil Shalala, Vice President of Marketing for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. “The Hard Rock has always had a great relationship with him and we are happy to welcome H&H Tattoo.”
