Dunlop Steps Up Amateur Racing Support

Buffalo, NY: Dunlop Motorcycle Tires proudly supports amateur motocross racing in the United States, and we are pleased to announce that we are stepping up our level of assistance in a number of ways.

As usual, Dunlop personnel will be on hand at major national amateur-racing events to assist Dunlop competitors with their tire needs, and we will also sponsor the Live Timing system at this year’s Winter National Olympics, also known as the Mini O’s. This Live Timing access will give amateur racing enthusiasts across the U.S. and around the world the opportunity to view timing, scoring and race results as they are recorded and will be featured online throughout the week of Winter National Olympics competition. In addition to online support, Dunlop is also making race results and times available trackside at the Winter National Olympics, sponsoring the distribution of results to riders, families and fans.

Transponders will be fitted to every race bike and the data recorded will instantly be viewable on the Web site. The online timing system is easily accessible and means nobody has to miss any of the action packed racing that we have seen all year. It doesn’t matter where people are in the world, anyone will be able to get online and watch the racing results as they happen. Live timing for the Mini Winter National Olympics will be displayed at http://www.tracksideresults.com/dunlopminio/ during the entire event.

In addition, Dunlop is adding a new level of support at the Winter National Olympics as the presenting sponsor of Motoplayground’s EVERYONE race coverage at the Winter National Olympics. This includes sponsorship of the Motoplayground Today show featuring interviews, race action and more that is broadcast daily during the Winter National Olympics at www.motoplayground.com as well as daily email blasts to Motoplayground subscribers. This exciting coverage extends through the full week of racing at the Winter National Olympics as well as re-cap coverage during the week following the event.
