Dodge/RCH Racing - 'Keys for Success' Round 11 - Indianapolis‏

INDIANAPOLIS (Friday, March 15, 2013) – Each race weekend, Dodge provides insight on the ‘Keys for Success’ for the upcoming Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series race. This week, Dodge/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Bel-Ray/Suzuki lead mechanic Tony Berluti provides the keys for tonight’s race at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Trivia Question: Josh Hill (No. 75 Dodge/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Bel-Ray/Suzuki RM-Z450) has a pair of top-10 finishes at Lucas Oil Stadium in three career 450SX starts. What is his best finish? (Answer Below)

TONY BERLUTI (Lead Mechanic, No. 20 Broc Tickle Dodge/Sycuan Casino/RCH Racing/Bel-Ray/Suzuki RM-Z450)

Race With Confidence: “Broc (Tickle) left Daytona on a high note. I think that it was one of the best races that he’s had this year. If he can keep that confidence and ride into this race like Daytona, it should definitely help his results.

“Broc’s really starting to get strong through the middle of the corners and his jump speed has been really fast. When you find speed through the obstacles and the center of the corner it gives you confidence. He just needs to work on the whoops a bit.”

Much Different Track For Round 11: “We’re coming from a hybrid track last weekend in Daytona that was really sandy. Broc came in after media day yesterday and said that the track here at Indy is super sticky; it almost drags you down. We definitely have to work on the suspension and try to get our setup a little better. The track has so much traction, a lot more traction than we’ve had in the past.”

Race Starts Continue to Dominate: “Broc pulled that holeshot last weekend in Daytona in his Heat Race. That was really big for his confidence. You see pictures of the holeshot on the Internet and it’s good for him to see himself ride up front. It’s a great visualization for him to see the No. 20 Suzuki up front.”

Faster Approach to the Weekend: “Getting use to the track fast is key. For Broc, it’s about going out and busting out some really good laps early in the timed practice to help set up a solid gate selection for the Heat Race. We saw last weekend what he could do with a good gate pick; he nailed a holeshot. Starting fast in the timed practices is key this weekend.”

Trivia Answer: Hill was runner-up in his first career start at Indianapolis in 2008.
