Alldredge Captures First Professional MX Podium At Season Opener

Corona, Calif. (May 18, 2015)- Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki riders captured one podium and two top 10 finishes at the Season Opener in Sacramento this weekend.

Chris Alldredge kicked-off the season by laying down the 4th quickest lap in practice.  And when the gates dropped in Moto 1, Alldredge rode hard alongside his Monster Energry/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammates and crossed the finish line in 5th place.  In the second Moto Alldredge was on fire in the first half of the race fighting his way into the 2nd position with his sites set on the the leader.  Before the end of the race, he dropped back one slot, but was able to finish 3rd to capture his first professional podium in Moto 2 and finishing third overall.
Solid Return
All eyes were on Adam Cianciarulo as he made his return to professional racing.  And Adam did not disappoint his fans.  In practice, Adam wielded his KX250F masterfully, laying down the fastest lap, nearly one second quicker than his teammate Savatgy who had the second quickest lap.  In Moto 1, Cianciarulo worked his way to the lead in the early laps and successfully hold back the challenger until Adam had a spill which he was able to recover from to finish in 9th position.   In Moto 2 he finished 11th for 8th place overall.
Solid Performance For Savatgy
Joey Savatgy started out the weekend in Hangtown by laying down the 2nd fastest lap in qualifying.  In Moto, 1 he rode hard battling back and forth the 4th slot, which he held onto until the checkered flag.  The second Moto was more challenging for Savatgy with a 15th place finish.  However, Savatgy finished the weekend in 7th overall.
