Fcr slide seals

They usually do that when hit with brake clean/carb cleaner. What fuel are you running and are they oem seals?

Hi.   Yes oem Yamaha seal they were put in dry never hit with any cleaner or gas , the only thing that would have hit it is maybe the very bottom from the accelerator pump, I’m just running 87 pump gas, I’ve probably put on over 50 of these over the last 5 years. Comes In won’t start see it wrinkled replace it, runs for years. , but these 2 I put in a month ago never tried to start them till yesterday wouldn’t start put the carbs back apart and that’s what it looked like .   Sat for a couple hours shrunk back up,  so for curiosity I took an old one laid it in the workbench sprayed it with carb cleaner nothin. Poured gas on it nothin.    I’m lost,
