Yz250f Starter Button

So back story I have a 2020 yz250f and I had to replace the starter motor and battery plus all leads and starter relay in the system. I put all the new parts on the bike but my battery had died because it's cold here in Wisconsin in December. I put it on the charger and when I went to start the bike the starter button on my bars was dead. Absolutely no power to the bike. I unplugged the connection on the button and I put my ohms tester on it I had a working circuit. I can turn the motor over by jumping the starter relay. Any thoughts on what to do. Just ordered a new button hopefully that fixes my problem.
