I just saw a post about a BMX track putting "slurry" on the track and asking for people to help. Apparently, it's a clay, sand, and glue mixture that helps maintain the integrity of the track, limit ruts or other "imperfections", and provide for a ridable track, even after heavy rains. Does anyone have any experience with this type of product? Would this be something that might work for local tracks to help maintain jump sections or other sections of their tracks? Could this be used in supercross whoops to reduce wear through the event?
It needs to be replaced on bmx tracks quite often , and it won’t have 60 hp mx bikes spinning tires
Imo slurry gets really really freaking hard.. I would not want to ride on that for moto like ever...might as well be concrete
Not a forever fix , needs repair quite often
a very hard surface only as smooth as how it’s applied , poor application leads to very rough surface
knobby tires would not grip well , bmx tires are very smooth normally slick in center
