I have damage of inner coating of upper tubes, but cant find replacement, so I decide to buy used complete forks, but there are only expensive for me offers (ebay, etc), which exactly fits my bike. However, there enough offers of forks from another brand bikes - RMZ, CRF. Which fork have maximum compatibility? I have access to lathe, milling and other metal-works, so can make some adaptation. May be anybody have did same thing?

Did that year KXF share parts with the Suzukis?

According to bikebandit.com, it doesn’t interchange with any other years.

They lengthened the forks at some point, but can be ran higher in the clamp and still work. If you can find any other year forks and clamps it should work with the correct steering stem pressed into newer clamps.

Did you inspect inner surfaces of upper tubes and damper cartridge? I have heavy wear of coating there and its only reason why I posted here.
I so don't want to "go from bad to worse" Smile
And I am from Moscow, Russia, are you ready to send and how much?
