I know there's a lot of clued up folks here, so maybe someone can help.

Going by Race Tech's spring calculator, I've put the recommended stiffer spring on the back of my bike and raised the air pressure in my AER48's also to their recommended pressure.

As I don't have the time at the moment to send things off to be re-valved, as a band aid fix I put all the clickers to the manuals stiffer recommendation.

Does that sound like a fair effort in the meantime before getting it set up for my fat ass, or is there anything else you could suggest? Faster rebound and extra compression to make up for the extra weight dragging down lighter valved suspension maybe?

Makes sense to just do it by feel I guess, but I'm too old, slow and out of practice to tell really and 99% of it is just me needing to put in work on and off the bike, so there's that, but I figure anything that helps is worthwhile.

Thanks!

Assuming the fluids are fresh , You’ve answered your own question for the most part

Id set sag
and fork height
Run it and make adjustments from there

How many rates did you go up on the rear? I’d would maybe go in on the rebound 2-3 clicks and see if it feels better.

Thanks for input guys, I'll try bumping the rebound a touch, I went from 4.3 to 5.4 on the rear spring and 165psi up front, 103mm sag.

Big ol 250lb 6'1 dude, trying to get that down, but crazy hours 6 or 7 days a week with the current demand, can't complai of course, but struggling to do anything useful outside of work haha

I have found the RT calculator to be just about useless. For example 2021 kx 250 stock forks .47 (actually.49) suggested .46. Enzo went up in spring and they are perfect, lol.

That’s quite a few rates, you may need to modify the rebound stack in the shock. You might be able to find comfort by going in on the rebound clicker quite a bit though
