kx450f Rar wheel lacing help!

So i was under the impression that when lacing a rear wheel on my 08 kx450f that i order 18 inner spokes and 18 outer spokes. But this is not the case. Kaw calls for 27 inner spokes at 202mm, and 9 outer spokes at 204mm with a slightly different angle on the spoke, must be for offset. well now that my rims and hubs are ready to be laced up after powdercoating i have no clue which side the "outer 9 spokes" go in. it does not mean outer holes because if it did then i would have 18 outer spokes but i only have 9. Any help would be great. Kaw calls for this set up, and moose sells the spoke kits this way also, 27 "inner", 9"outer"
