Does anyone have high altitude jetting specs for a late model RM 250? The track is Mammoth and altitude is 8000ft.. The bike is an 06 RM250 with PC pipe and silencer and V Force reeds. Thanks in advance.

you will need something along the lines of 3 mains smaller and 1-1.5 clips leaner.

i dont know what the stock needle is in the 06. is it the NEDH?

the third letter in the needle code references the clip position. the D means they are 0.5 clips richer than the C.

for example, if stock is NEDH on the 3rd clip and you want 0.5 clip leaner, then you run the NECH on its 3rd clip. that makes the jetting inline with using the stock needle in position 2.5. you go back and forth between each needle to fine tune. for every 5k feet 1 clip position leaner should be enough.

Thanks for the info. How many do you think that I will need to drop the pilot?

Where are you at on the airscrew now? Did you already verify proper pj setting using the airscrew and snapping the throttle open?

If you're in the 1-2 turn range I'd probably drop 1 size, reset the airscrew to just get rid of the lean bog on the stand and then ride it around snapping the throttle from an idle to wot and richer it up 1/4 turn at a time until you get rid of the bog.
