2010 yz450f oil pressure test

is it manditory after every oil change to do a oil pressure test on the 2010 yamaha yz450f?

definatly....


its pretty easy to do, and your making sure that you are getting good pressure to prevent failure

as the saying goes"better to be safe, than sorry"

yea that is true but i am just wondering do you know about the problem with bogging down half to full throttel i called the dealer and they said maybe spark plug or too much air from air box im just curious if u knopw why it might be doing this i changed the oil did the pressure test and changed the plug and looked at the air box im gonna try it tommarow but you might know more if it still does this

not too sure about the bog, hard to diagnose without the bike in fron tof me. i know opening up the airbox(dremel slots on top in front of tank) makes it alot more responsive, if its not a running issue. do you have an exhaust? have you re-mapped?

i have a stock exhaust and no i havnt re mapped it and what dremel slots are you talking about? also i did the plug and took it for a quick ride and didnt bog but idk if thats cause i wasnt riding for an hour only 10 15 min also it would run fine but as soon as you twist the throttle once it hits half or past it slowly bogs down so far its not doing it but i cant see it alway being a plug :s

here's a pic example of what im refering to. we have never dremmeled one to this extent but you get the point. we usually put 3 of the slots like the one on the blue shroud per side(we dremmel the black box though). something dremmeled this much would definatly need a re-map do to the high-air flow.

oh ok but no i havent done that if it starts back up maybe i should try that or re-mapping first?
