Select them using a magic wand tool, then a paintbrush selector tool to clean up the selected area. Then fill with a color which you've set to have a fairly high transparency so the reflectance and shading still show.

There could also be a color replacement tool which does the shading automatically.

you could also try using the marquee tool to mark select the area, this tends to more accurate than the magic wond.
