At a night track in Houston in '73. Made two trips to Saddleback with it and stunk both times. BUT, in the alley behind Morrewoods shop I was faster than Lance and he was PO'd.

I had a 75 Indian (revival) 125. Kind of a cool looking bike with the big radial head, but my buddy on his XL100 could smoke me. Rear hubs liked to break, always filing points, the forks were real flexy. Would make a cool pit bike though if I still had it.

That was the first bike I ever had. Frame kept braking, had to fill the forks every time I put gas in it. I know, needs maintenance but I loved that thing.

Indian 74 and 76 were quite popular in oz in the early 70's. One of the last models they made was the MX80 in about '74 which was banned as it had an RRP of more than $500 which was a rule back then but was pretty trick for the day. Weren't they rebadged Italjets? Some were assembled in Taiwan as I remember but of course with Italian Minarelli engines,

I remember my points said Ducati on them. Lord knows I filed them enough times. Cases always let water in too so I had to be careful where I rode.

I had one of those. It sucked. I should have kept my tricked out SL70. Was REALLY happy to get the XR75 on Christmas day 1973 after getting my ass handed to me by one at the first Mini-O's.
