Hello all,
So my mother just brought out this flag from an old box she had stashed away. She will be 76 years old in a few days. I asked her how and when she got it. All she knows is "many years ago and picked it up in the middle of the rd". Anybody know about it? Thanks

Guessing it's a souvenir flag from the original Daytona Beach 200 motorcycle race. It was the beginning of Daytona bike week and where the famous 200 mile race started. Originally it ran on the beach and back down a paved road I believe .
That flag is probably from the last race before it stopped along with most other motorsports during the war.
That is a really cool part of history assuming that's what it is.
