Having post restorations issues with my HPP...
I did a rather seamless swap of an 89 water pump cover during my restoration. Since my restoration, Ive jetting jetted the bike to run as best as my mechanical abilities allowed. However, something seemed very off, especially while riding at less than 1/4 throttle. I finally pulled off the left HPP cover and checked the valves, no movement. Any suggestion??? other than decarbonizing the system, is there something I should do?

Basically, putting on the 89 cover on a 86/87/88 involves more than just bolting up the cover. Be sure to read each page COMPLETELY because setting the tension on the valves is tricky to do correctly.
