I thought that at first but then changed my mind when I recalled living in hurricane country. For example prior to Katrina I recall discussions of what would happen to New Orleans if a hurricane of a certain size were to come up a certain track. I can't recall if it was talked about as "the big one" but it certainly would have fit. Katrina would have been "the big one". The first two things that actually came to my mind were "heart attack" (ala Fred Sanford) and "earthquake". I wonder what else would have been on the list?
