Hi guys, My wife is 40 in September and I know its a wee bit early but im looking for some ideas for her 40th birthday, Like I will have a suprise party at the house for her wlih the family and all that goes with it and have booked a local live band to livin the party , but for a realy good or wacky gift have you any good ideas, not to sound patronizing (i cant spell ) but hell all the good ideas for anything come from the land of the free, The great US of A, (gee every time I write USA I want to go live there)

give her a day at a full service salon, have a town car pick her up, take her there, have a massage, pedacure, manucure, facial, cut, color ans style. Buy her a nice outfit and have it left there for her to wear home in the town car to your wiating surprise party. Make sure that they feed her through the day and that it is a full day of pampering. have a lunch brought in for her and snacks and wine or champgne.

My wife turned 40 in Feb. and that's pretty much what I did. Her friends picked her up one Saturday morning and took her to the spa, where I'd arranged for a full-day spa treatment. Later that evening they took her to a friends house where we had a dinner party with about 30 friends and family. Lots o' good food and beverages. Capped off the evening with a room at the Ritz Carlton.

Get her name tattooed on your body a couple of days before her birthday, then when you two wake up on her birthday you show it to her and say happy birthday. Get it on your chest over your heart for some extra points.
Other than that, dickinabox is a great gift.
