Any of you guys ever hear of it?In Tennessee.Just got word about an hour ago that my Dad had a pretty bad crash there today on his Volkswagon powered trike. He's on it in my profile pic from the trip we recently took through Utah.He and some buddies rode down from Ohio.I guess he was cookin' around a turn, and someone was coming around on his side and the guy on a bike ahead of him broke super hard so Dad went over the hill offroading.
Bruised lung, cracked ribs, multiple contusions.Flew 20 feet his buddies said, as the trike hit a tree.Lucky for the 68 year old he had no head injuries.(wasn't wearing a Leatt
)I guess he climbed back up the hill with some help. Then the ambulance came. He's in Marysville hospital now.I just talked to him.He had a pain button to push if he needs it.He said he was about to watch me on CSI Miami on TV in his room.Told him I was glad I prayed for safety last night.Kinda funny I specifically did that.Anyway, life is fleeting.Dad is my whole reason I started Moto.Really glad I had another chance tonight to tell him I love him and hear it from his own mouth.
did you see that baby green streak at last years anahiem in the kawasaki pits ..it had a 21 inch front wheel, just like i had
Tail of the Dragon is gnarly, but crazy popular, especially with bikes
It's like 318 turns in 11 miles or something crazy like that

I hope he's OK
It's near Deal's Gap
The Shop
back then there wasn't alot of true mx bikes..the 21 incher would bottom out.
thats funny about the lime green..my helmet was lime green and so was my kill button..kids and spray paint..good memeories
I've been there a couple of times. It's like no other stretch of public road I've ever seen - a hugely long stretch of super tight non-stop turns, "advertised" as 318 turns in 11 miles. It can be fun, as long as you stay in your lane and the other guy stays in his lane. Many of the curves are blind corners, where you can't see through the corner, and unfortunately it is not unusual to find somebody opposite direction in a turn taking his half out of the middle. Too many wannabe racer yahoos -
