im a 30+ c class rider at best just so my stupid question dosn't sound to stupid. any way i strated riding a new track and the soil is really loose not sandy but well tilled and loose. i was wondering would it be better to soften your suspension on the clickers or harden them for this type of track. i know it is stupid but that is what im asking.

If it doesn't seem like something is wrong, I would leave it alone. You can always test new settings. Make a click or two change on your clickers, write it down, and see if it makes an improvement. If not go back to where you were. You also might want to note your current settings and write them down in case you get all screwed up. Do this by turning your clickers all the way in and counting the clicks. Then set it back where it was.
Paul Thede of Race Tech has a good book about suspension, Amazon has it.
