What happens to???

Riders practice bikes and race bikes at the end of the year. Do they put alot of the stock components on them and sell em, trash em???

Depends. Top factory rider's bikes are returned to the factory. Privateer bikes, and even some top level support teams may just sell the bikes. Members have posted links here to bikes from BTO Motorsports and Geico Honda for sale.

Yes. You'll see many bikes for sale after the season is over. If they are factory supported teams, the works parts get changed out for the stock parts taken off originally. Unsupported teams take off the trick parts that are still reusable and sell the bikes with new stock parts.

Most of the factory bikes go to places like Texas and Iowa where they sit outside in trailer parks for a few years and then are sold on Craigslist and Ebay. True story.
