Please explain the difference between A Kit and B Kit suspension.

B-kit is basicly a standard fork/shock with specialparts and coatings etc. A-kit is specialmade with own manufacturing as the Showa kit for example. But there is the factory level too. That is developmentparts often handmade one of a kind stuff. Not for sale. Mostly testing/racing and put in production x years later. That is to change now. There seems to be a "suspensionwar" right now with the new airsystems put in produktion too early in my opinion. Like the suspensionwar late 70s and early 80s when everything was about who had most travel so chains came flying off like roost.Smile

Exactly. A very good one too i've heard. If you gonna buy something special go for the suspguy thats delivers and making changes on short notice for just you. There is many "gurus" out there...........
