The Rockstar Suzuki rider Clement Desalle crashed in the first moto of the Belgian National in Tongeren and injured his shoulder. He also injured his finger. Desalle will sit out the rest of the day and will loose the championship lead to Ken de Dijcker. If Desalle is fit in time for the Swedish Grand Prix is unclear

DESALLE OUT FOR SWEDEN ?
Clement Desalle faces a week of uncertainty regarding his ability to defend the MX1 world championship plate; the 22 year old Belgian was involved in an incident with Jeremy Van Horebeek during the first moto of the national championship race at Tongeren and took no further part in proceedings.
A dislocated shoulder was put back in place already at the track, and a cut finger was stitched up at the local hospital. Desalle will return to hospital tomorrow for an MRI scan to determine the full extent of the damage.
Will he miss Sweden ?
Desalle is hard as nails; last year he twice returned from injury to race the following GP ... and won each time !
