Wife and I did a trip to San Diego for the race and spent a few days prior checking out the area. Being from the Seattle area I'm used to scenery but damn San Diego is nice....La Jolla, Coronado, Imperial Beach, Balboa Park etc not to mention 70's and sunny in January....no wonder it's called America's best city...now back to 40's and fog.....sigh

Great pics! SoCal (OC and below) is truly amazing. I try to spend at least a few weeks every winter down there while we have the winter in NorCal. Glad you made it!

Agreed! Wife and I usually do A1 and another round later in the season. We decided on San Diego and an extended weekend this year. We were really impressed with Petco park as well, lots of interesting food choices and craft beers. Also being able to go to fan fest then walk a block back to the hotel was great! SD rounds will definitely be on our list from now on.
