Reed could be joking, but who knows. Here is a recent twitter conversation between Reed and DV12:
DV12: Come on guys, we need to go racing next year and buy new bikes... But we have to sell our 2011s first... ;-)

He could just mean that he's selling all his 2011 Hondas and making room for his 2012 Hondas. No one really knows except for Reed and maybe JT$ and Byrne.
