Racer TV coverage at Loretta's is excellent. Can we get that crew to Unadilla and beyond??

MX Sports is Loretta's, so it seems like it would be an option if not for this year, maybe next?

I believe they are all volunteers. I remember in the past DC's son ran a camera there.

The coverage is 10 times better including resolution, drone coverage, and camera placement. These are not amateurs with their iPhones....not to mention they do it 10 HOURS PER DAY. DC.....why aren't they at the Nationals? The only thing I can think of is trying to keep it on a "TV" station with MAV on some cable networks.

You guys are insane. They missed so many passes today. Had tons of shots just staring at an empty track. The announcers other than Weege were lost most of the time. The stream was pretty good but there were a couple of cameras that routinely had ghosting. Rider position was not there for probably half the day.

I am not complaining about the coverage though. It’s a bunch of volunteers and they did an admirable job but it was not anywhere close to what we see for the nationals and supercross and that coverage is fairly piss poor for network.

The stream is what I am referring to. I can watch, Rewind, replay is great. I am sure they producer is not a network level guy, but the stream was my primary reason for posting.

Yeah, I’ll give you that. Hard to beat YouTube.

I brought up the Racer TV thing in the Davey Coomb Interview thread awhile back.

They only need the streaming service!! If the equipment is better, just have Racer TV host it.

Since we're on the subject of broadcasting.

I was watching some old Canadian races from '06 a while back and there are things I think the US broadcast should incorporate. I like that you can actually hear the bikes and in some of the camera shots, they get real close to the action. It just shows a better perspective of the speed they're going. The camera of the takeoff jump is pretty cool too.

This, we can agree on!

I work construction and had the races playing through my jbl all day without fail. I gave up on trying to watch nationals.
