REM race report,

Bryan Friday used a 2-1 to win the Over-40 Intermediate class (which was the biggest class of the day). Alan Burtt won the first moto but when he couldn’t pass Ken Alphanalp in moto two, he slipped to a 1-3 score for second. Alphanalp used a 5-2 to wrestle third place against Australian Dan Alamangos. Farther back in the pack, Greg Groom went 12-11, Mark Haupert had a 6-7, but was bested by the 7-6 of Jeff Fahy.

Way to go Flyin' Friday!!

Any of you old guys gonna do the Old Timers International at GH in Oct?? I'm going to come over as a warm up for Vets in November...

They have OTHG and support classes if you don't want to join the OT club.

Thanks.I wasn't sure if I was even going to race for sure.The previous day I did 4 car hits on CSI Miami.My body was a little sore.Glad I did though.I had a good time.Terrible start the first moto(around 9th) but caught the leader on the last lap.No time for a pass.2nd moto, pulled the holeshot(first time since the 70's) and pulled away pretty easily.So much more fun with a clear track.I'm loving my new ('07)CRF.REM is fun and very low key.Well run program.Kind of hard to pass and few jumps but the dirt is good,motos are long and you still get done by 2:30.They are taking a 3 week break. I need to find a place to ride this weekend so I can get in shape.Thanks for the props.Smile
