FMF 4.1 Screen insert

I have the 4.1. And I only ride tracks but decided to go ride some trails today and just goof around and ruin a set of tires . I do not want to ride without a spark arrester . But not sure I could ever get the thing out if I install it ? That clip looks like it would be a pain to remove . So worse case I just leave it in , how much of a lose in power will it create?

On my KXF instaled it and removed it no sweat.

On hard packed clay I run it for the longer-steadier pull it seems to have (w/ Green plug).
