Texas Motocross fans have been awaiting a National in their state for years. The only have to wait one more day, as the pros took to the track on Saturday to break in the new facility.

Categorizing the racing surface is tough. We'd expect that by the end of the day tomorrow, you could have a mix of hardpack, loam and sand...there are some of each on the track. On the other hand, it could also be mud and more mud...the weather report calls for afternoon thunderstorms. One thing's for sure, with a pair of riders (Villopoto and Townley) going for the Lites title, and four riders (Langston, Ferry, Alessi and Short) within ten points of each other in the Motocross class, the racing's going to be epic.
