^ Same question about the 2021 KX250. Hope the FMF system fits.

What do you feel / hear when you have this problem? Is it dangerous for the engine or something you can catch on time?

Does every 20 KX bike has it? I'm worried since mine only has 10 hours and it's too hot to ride (110 outside). Which means if something happens it will be "too late" perhaps? Should I contact the dealer about it, maybe there's a recall for it?

How many springs did you replace and in which order (if it matters). I use stock gearing and I like it. I think also keefer said to leave it as is. I have a full FMF Ti system.

Forgot to update that I bought the bike. Only complaint is no e start. Quite hard to kick when hot and in gear. Difficult for Enduro. Engine is a beast. The KYB feels good.

It wasn't. I wonder how the dent got a different color. It can't go back to gold from the bluish color so that's weird.

Managed to fix it with water. Filling only the curved header, blocking both sides somehow. It's not 100% perfect but I'll live with it.

Does someone know if I fill the entire header (mega bomb) with water and close both ends and let if freeze (can check every hour). Can it damage the header or will it fix the dent? My last try before sending to a professional for $100.

Can you show me what kind of socket? Sounds weird tapping it when it's frozen inside, will pop out the dent..

It's a 2020 250. There's no SX header for it.

I'm worried about filling it up and blocking both ends because of the mega bomb. I read ice can break the header.

Was your dent the same as mine? Will mono ethylene glycol (green anti freeze) do the job? Why and how does it react differently to titanium? I think it's not working since I only fill a few inches past the dent, and not blocking any ends. But I'm afraid ... more »

It's the normal one. Going for 6th cycle in the freezer. Still zero improvement. Guess it won't work.

I'm on my 5th try but didn't check yet, will let it sit a bit more. I'm pretty sure there will be zero improvement. Not sure why it's not popping out even a millimeter.

But once it's frozen there's no actual reason to leave inside the freezer, right? I've tried 3 times now, didn't take it out yet but I can see it's not working. Should I leave it frozen inside a few more hours? Doesn't make sense to me though. Did you ... more »

I just fill the round part, no need to close any ends, let it sit vertically and that's it?
