seems cheap when you consider what a standard bike costs and all the trick stuff on it

I wish that bike was in the States, it will probably get me divorced but I will be killing two birds with one stone!

Sure seems to be a lot more bike for the buck than the Reed bike that supposedly sold for 25 grand. Loads of trickness.

Why does he have Jlaws's number?
Didnt you hear. JLaw is buying that bike and racing the last round of the Nats, then he's gonna clean sweep the MEC and ghost ride it into the stands before retiring again.

Very sick bike and the price is good considering.

The thing I'm asking myself is... Is the local club racer who is likely to buy that, going to race it as "Zach's bike"? or disguise it a little and make out his improvement is down to the rider?

The average local club racer won't show any improvement when on that bike.

will it make him any faster apart from off the line.i rode a full race bike and as my standard of riding wasn't anywhere near that level the suspension felt to hard and the power was harsh, i must admit i liked the power hit but was unnerved by the feel of the suspension although i could over jump things and it just soaked it up.i actually was slower on it than my own bike .

Whoever buys those bikes will need to get the suspension set up to suit their weight unless they're the same size as the original guys, so shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, stiff forks are where it's at. And since when has anybody been able to slot right into a radically different bike without getting used to it.

Not only that but the self-confidence boost that riding a 'factory' bike cannot be denied.

Doesn't matter who buys it, they'll get their money's worth out of it....

Good to hear, the British track should suit him.

Exactly! Unless you are a very good rider no point buying a bike like that.

A local racer would not benefit from a professionally built, meticulously maintained, high performance, Ohlins suspended race bike?

Why on earth would the mfgs. sell a stock bike with adjustable foot pegs, triple clamps, bar mounts, air suspension with 22 way adjustable high and low speed compresasion and rebound dampening, plug in ignition maps, programmers.......

If you can't improve on this thing, go out and buy a Harley and quit MX. I would probably ride it once, clean it up and hang it on my man cave!

I always thought you had more idea Mr Mc. We bought a genuine works 450 TM , it rides like a dream and is super fast too. No problem for a club rider to improve on it. These Yam's may need a little setting up to suit the new owner but to say they are unrideable for anyone but a pro' is utter bollocks......
