What do you guys want to see in race coverage?

Thinking over how to cover the series next season, i'm wondering what you guys would like to see. For the longest time we've done it photo gallery style, with 40-50 photos with captions up by the next morning.

Do you like that? Would you prefer something different?

Pit Bits will stay pretty much the same. Practice and pit photos, up before race time.

Behind the scenes info and more pictures, data of the privateers. Maybe a "pit bit" of the guys who don't make the main…

You do it well with the pit bits but maybe a special weekly "Privateer Bits"?…

Not that you have any control, but I'd like to see the season start with every rider who is supposed to be there on the line for A1. When was the last time that happened?

Steve,

One thing that has not changed for me in the past 25 years in the sport is seeing all the factory bikes so for sure keep the pit bits that you always do and I think most of us enjoy! I love seeing all the cool parts that are being used that are new such as KTM's air shock.

I also enjoy the interviews of the riders both pre and post race where you have the audio files with photos. Maybe you can expand to include mechanics, managers, and trainers/ riding coaches to give us more insight into all the aspects of what really happens at each event.

Style check. I like to look and see how the pros techniques are not so much style. Where they sit, finger on the clutch where they are looking, line selection, how far they have the suspension compressed, etc. So corners (all types), scrubs, seat bounces, starts, whoops. Basically anywhere riders are doing something consistently.
I love the pit bits when you take pictures up close of stuff alot of people wouldn't see. Like Dungeys bike has an electric fan, or stuff like how much stuff the mechanic has safety wired.

I would like to see a little more behind the scenes video stuff, kind of like Transworld's "how was your weekend?"

Basically any extra content that's not like the standard cookie cutter interviews would be great.

The having to scroll back down aftter going to the next photo does indeed get a bit old. Dry

It's always cool to see on track obstacle photos. Like that photo that someone took of jt$ standing in the whoops at that one race. It's just hard to put stuff to scale on tv sometimes.

Pit Bits Rule - love the behind the scenes coverage.

The best change would be to use a Vurbmoto or RacerX photo gallery window. The whole page reload makes it feel like MXA website.

Pit bits are great, and I like the galleries too. I don't know if the teams would allow it (probably not) but I'd like to see more features going into greater depth about the bikes and modifications and new stuff they're trying, etc....

Also, any chance you could get Ralph out of the booth, or preferably the entire broadcast altogether? That would really boost the new season.

Besides the racing itself on TV, Pit Bits are what I look forward to the most....love 'em! Only suggestion would be to separate (like someone mentioned above) the practice pics and the Pit Bits.....Pit Bits section being ONLY Pit Bits. Also, some privateer Pit Bits might be kind of cool....throw some of them in there.

I think you guys do a great job. One thing I would like to see more of... not from just you but from Vurb, Racer X, etc would be more of the behind the scenes stuff... and not just at the races, but maybe at home where the guys are training, how they are training, testing days, working hand in hand with their mechanics and trainers. I think that would be cool just to show how intense and focused these guys have to be year round to compete at the top level. I know that "Inside The Moto" did it really well and I found that part to be more interesting.

The overall coverage is pretty damn good. Great photos. Concise captions. All pluses.

What's missing? Photo's of the racers in each others faces, still with a face full of roost, screaming at each other over a "racing incident". I know it's not the WWF but it could add a little drama (just a little) to the story line.

Now that I think about it, if Stewart rides like he rode at the Monster Cup we are likely to see that right on the podium?

Maybe someone could get Tyler Evans to hold a weekend "attitude seminar"?

I know it's not professional but it would be intreseting to see the animosity going on with the guys a lil farther back in the pack.
