Maybe I missed the thread talking about it, but this kid looked incredible last Sat. He had solid starts and then marched straight to the front in both motos. And he interviews well, IMO. Kinda reminds me of Everts riding on his feet and using his length to his advantage.

Admittedly, I dont know shit from shat, but I think (& hope) this kid will do some damage in the pro ranks.

He looked great.

One thing I took away from that race and the Super Mini race , Was the Sport has plenty of Talent coming through the ranks.

As Fans I think We are going to see some great racing for many years to come.

Jordan Smith impressed me most. He has serious speed. Hopefully Larocco can hone it.

Yeah showing that much impatience blowing the entire race on the very first rythem section really impressed me too.

AP 1-1 because he has a brain on the track Smile

Is Aaron a B rider or A rider?

How about the last lap, passing for 2nd place going triple triple triple...

I don't follow the AM's as much but from what I've heard, Plessinger has stamina for days.

The single single pass was nice, he knew he had it before they even hit the first corner. Smooth.

i think his background is GNCC and hare scrambles, that explains the stamina and good style

So you were more impressed with a 10-2 versus a 1-1?

There's a reason why you're catching hell in the Pourcel thread. Smile

Yeah... I was. They were 6 lap races. And I wanted to see you had speed to make an impact in the pros. You are way too over critical of a post like that one.

I'm catching hell in the Pourcel thread but I think a lot of people have agreed too.

Dude rode awesome. They said he is 6'2", but he looks even taller. He must have long legs for his height. Or maybe everyone else out there is just 5'6" or something, lol.

Impressed with both of those riders. Plessinger, who was not the favorite, was on the gas. Here is how they stacked up in moto 2:

1 Jordon Smith 1:12.302 fastest lap; 1:13.754 average lap
2 Aaron Plessinger 1:13.225 4 1:13.870 1

Someone looking for a future SX rider might be just as impressed w/ Jordan's ride...

His ability to ride the more technical/real SX parts of the track were the best out there. Turn entry was pretty damn good, too.

Aaron was simply awesome...no doubt about it; but, at an actual Supercross, I'd give the nod to Jordan. Lap times & certain sections/segment times tell the real tale.

Jordan needs to gate waaaaaaaaay better, tho.

Outdoors? Aaron will crush it.

Plessinger has been riding real good for a while now. He is smooth and in control. Smith has been fast since he was on mini's but he needs to find that line where you just step it down a notch and keep it on two wheels but The kid is very talented. Darian Sanayei was riding great also and I think he is riding his own bike where as Smith and Plessinger are on a "team bike". I dont know if that makes them any better but I know it doesn't hurt.

Jordan rode well at RBSR and MEC. There is no doubt that Aaron has a bright future as well. At RedBud this summer Aaron had lap times that would have put him in the middle of the pro pack.

I am surprised that there has been little mention of Marshall Weltin who rode at their pace in 3rd and 4th place but is almost unknown to most fans. That was really his first big race (excluding LL) and he carried himself well with the exception of a couple lapses in concentration. May be someone to watch out for...................

Not to mention Barcia cased that section a lot of different times. I was impressed to see him do it on a 250f

I have seen both Plessinger and Jordan ride at Muddy Creek and LL's. Both have bright futures I think!

Were you there? He did it multiple times. They didn't show it on tv.

Camera work was extra shitty the other night or?
