The risk paid dividends as the team notched a 10th place finish at the Atlanta round and competed in a total of six main events in front of capacity crowds and international TV audiences. Shea Racing is proud to announce that SMS Racing will return as a team partner. TeamPassportWorld.com/SheaRacing/National Switchgear will compete on SMS Racing-prepared KTM 250 SX-F race bikes. SMS Racing proved during the 2012 season that it could develop a competitive and reliable race bike for the ultimate demands of an AMA Supercross course. Coupled with the incredible team graphics supplied by DeCal Works, riders outfitted in FLY Racing gear and exhaust by DRD, this team is sure to be competitive during the upcoming season.

Shea Racing has participated in the East Region AMA Supercross events since 2009, expanding its team in 2011 with support from National Switchgear. In 2012, SMS Racing came on board to supply the “Ready to Race” KTM 250 SX-F race bikes including suspension and motor modifications.
The team is in the process of finalizing agreements with athletes for the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross 250cc Lites East Region class. Fans can expect an announcement in the near future.
