For the second and final time of 2011
the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series heads into Angel Stadium in
Anaheim, Calif. This is the fifth race of the season and also the
second annual Breast Cancer Awareness “PINK” race where riders, teams
and fans will wear pink to show their support for finding a cure for
breast cancer. The PINK supercross race will help fund the Susan G.
Komen 3-Day for the Cure 60-mile walk.

Catch
all of the racing action on Sunday, February 6th on SPEED channel. The
Lites class will start things off at 5:00 p.m. EST and will be
immediately followed by the Supercross class at 6:00 p.m. EST.
Out
east, the AMA Arenacross series invades the Huntington Center in
Toledo, Ohio for the first time ever. This is the second straight week
where fans will enjoy two nights of intense racing action with main
events taking place on both Friday and Saturday.

The
Babbitt’s Kawasaki squad swept the podium last Friday and came within
one spot on Saturday so they will undoubtedly be looking to make it a
perfect two-for-two inside the new venue.
This past week we
said goodbye to a fellow friend and racer when Nathan Woods passed away
after a crash during practice for the WORCS season opener. The Rider
Down Foundation has setup a memorial fund to help Nathan’s family
through this tough time. You can find more information on the Rider Down Foundation website or by visiting their donation page.
