Chuck Sun to be Honored at Seattle SX!‏

The Legends & Heroes of MX 2011 Tour will be honoring

Chuck Sun @ Seattle Supercross!

April 13, 2011 ~ Merced, CA:  1980
National 500cc AMA National Champion, Motocross des Nations Champion
and AMA Hall of Fame Champ will be honored this Saturday at the AMA
Monster Energy Supercross by the Legends & Heroes MX Tour.  Chuck
is representing avid vintage enthusiasts from www.Vibranator.com, creators of Baja 250 winning Tune Mass Damper reducing vibration systems.

Chuck Sun was born on September 10, 1956 in rural Sherwood, Oregon into
an off-road riding family.  In 1968, the young Sun earned $100picking
beans and strawberries under Oregon’s hot summer sun.  Twelve year old
Chuck bought his first dirt bike that summer with his earnings.
Chuck’s dad, Roger, was a little skeptical, asking his son “Are you
sure this is what you want to spend your money on?”  Chuck quickly
answered “There’s no question Dad, I want that Cat mini bike at the
auto parts store”.

Bruce
Brown’s movie “On Any Sunday” made Malcolm Smith an icon in off-road
motorcycle racing and would ignite in Chuck an indistinguishable
passion for racing.  At age of 14, Chuck entered his first motocross
race, fell trying to pass everyone in the first turn and learned his
first lesson of racing “Balance of Patience and Desire”.

Mr.
Sun is a now a former professional motocross racer who, in 1980, won
the AMA 500cc National Motocross Championship.  He was also a member of
the First U.S. Team in history to win the Motocross Des Nations.   He
is also the only Asian American to have won a national championship in
American professional motorcycle racing.  In 2003, Sun was inducted
into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

Congrats Chuck, for a Job Well Done!
