I'll have to look at ours when I get home. I have an old CRF250 (04') that we did the same conversion on. Its not a tight fit, I think ours has about a 1/4"-5/16" gap.

Had a chance to give it a look?

Had the same problem with n 03 CR125, I put a 2015 CRF fender and a stadium plate on it also, I just adjusted the front fender mount holes by just elongating them a tad to bring it further back to mate up with the stadium plate. I don't have any pics but it looks factory fitted.

I have a '04 upper clamp if you/anyone is interested. $40 shipped. It has the 04-up upper mount for the plate. Fits 00-07 125/250/250f/450f

Hmm, I might have to play with it a bit. The problem is the 2015 fender has a raised lip so it won't sit further back. I was considering using a spacer. A picture would be super helpful!

This is the front fender and plate on my 2014. Don't know if it will help but this is what it looks like from the front.

Here is my '02 - '15 stock conversion. I drilled new holes to get the raised portion of the front fender slammed up to the triple clamps, and the number plate seated beautifully.

Edit: I also shimmed the back bolt holes 1/4" to tilt the front tip of the fender upwards.

Sorry Kickerman, just remembered to look last night. After further review, yours fits about the same as mine. Don't know why I thought it was a tighter fit.

Thanks for the visual. Looks really clean with the stock front plate. I might get the stock one in the future but we'll see. Nice bike and garage! I was also gonna put spacers to tilt it up a bit.

Yeah, it's not a massive bother for me. It looks good but I might look at a stock plate in the future. I like the square-ness of the stadium plate though.

I just drilled holes in the fender and used washers to lift the front.

just measure the distance between the fender mounting bolt holes on the triple clamp and you have a template, you can go slightly larger on the holes you drill so you have a bit of adjustment, the washers are plenty big enough to accommodate.

Iirc, when i did mine, i elongated the 2 pre-drilled holes in the fender and slid it back so the raised part sat tight on the clamps, measured the distance between the mounting holes on the clamp and drilled 2 new holes in the fender, job done.

I was a bit more brutal with mine. So with the fender off it looks butchered but the washers hide everything. In the future I would make a template out of paper or card stock first to accurate transfer the spacing instead of trial fitting it numerous times.

Although it is probably the best way, I only did it like that as it was a neon yellow fender and it was silly expensive, if it was a normal one i'd of probably just let the hound on it, and wanged a couple of bolts through the tooth holes afterwards lol.
