What programs do you recomend for downloading and editing. I've been using Microsoft digital images and recently found Picasa on the Internet. I was just thinking there must be some other choices that will work better.

How much do you want to spend?

PS Elements is probably the best bang for the buck unless you plan to do a lot of heavy lifting.

I use Adobe Lightroom 2. Costs some but I very much enjoy it.
