First race

My first race is coming up in April its the loretta lynn qualifier race nervous any pointers for a rookie?

1. good night sleep
2. drink plenty of water and gatorade
3. corners corners corners
4. try to match whatever people in your class are doing. jumps, nice lines, again corners..
5. ride loose
6. 2nd gear start. if on concrete, warm up your tire and do NOT lean forward. if on dirt, lean forward
7.have fun!! be glad to be racing and you will have a fun time and most likely ride better.

Your first race is a LL qualifier? Expect full gates. Try to avoid getting caught up in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd turn crashes.

Dude, do yourself a favor and hit a few races before a qualifier! Not the place to start IMO...
