It's usually announced sometime into the new year; may hear some rumor-ville action before then given the change at Southwick (or hopefully no change in the end).

Ditch Miller and/or Elsinore and add Glen Helen.
Retain Southwick or add an even sandier track.

I say they replace miller/Elsinore with gopher dunes in court land ontario I mean I know they would have to cross the border but it would be about 1,000 miles closer for the teams and as much as I hate to say it the track is gnarlier than the wick.

Since everyone wants a "real" sand track added to the lineup, I suggest we mark off a 1.5 mile track in the dunes and have at it. I figure you could bring in plenty of port-a-potties on flatbeds and food vendors could satisfy the nourishment needs. If it's done on the edge of the dunes, it shouldn't be an issue for teams to set up and pit. I mean, who wouldn't want to see this turned into a pro national?

gnarly track for sure. the gopher round IMO is the best round in the cdn series. I wouldnt miss an ama nat there for the world, But like Gus said its is not very probable.

I've heard rumblings that we'll see a schedule soon. Maybe before the MXoN. But other than that, I've been sworn to secrecy until it's released.

GuyB is right there some truth in this thread if you know where to look. And the truth is... There will be a Cofordsville Indiana national motocross in 2014 August. At the same facility as the Iron man GNC. Elsinore is in trouble...Southwick is a maybe?

I would LOVE to see a National at a place like that, but...Glamis would be out of the question during the summer months and all the enviro-freaks would spaz if it was held out at Pismo Beach. Someone mentioned Silver Lake, MI. That'd be a good place or out in Waynoka, OK (Little Sahara). Don't know if the AMA would sign off on something like that or who would even promote it, but it's a cool idea...
