Epic FMX Freeride Contest: Farm Jam 2013

We are in the deep south of New Zealand right now, for the annual Farm Jam event which brings together the worlds best FMX, BMX and MTB riders.

For the very first time this year, a natural terrain FMX element has been added to the event, being held on a brand new FMX dirt jump setup in the beautiful hills of New Zealand. With jumps up to 150 feet in length, the true skills of the FMX athletes will be tested.

The freeride element of the Farm Jam went down today, and the action and video were amazing! The final results of the contest have yet to be released, as they will be tallied together with the regular FMX event on Saturday to determine the final winner of the Farm Jam FMX title. But for now, you can enjoy all of the amazing riding that went down in the hills of New Zealand on the beautiful Frew Farm.

Keep an eye out for a special cameo appearance from MTB legend Andreu Lacondeguy who for the very first time took his FMX skills to the hills! There is not many athletes in the world able to compete in multiple disciplines as Andreu is attempting this weekend.
