Kenny, I don't hear it as an excuse, and appreciate the honesty.  It's an inspiration to see you out there battling at the highest level.

It's also a testament to your badassness, and determination, that your career-ending level injuries are hardly ever even mentioned or thought of at this point.

It's more like "if Kenny's in this race, he's a threat".
