Destroying your own property to celebrate a triumph is a personal decision but why not put it up for auction (with the secret bits substituted of course) and all proceeds to an injured brother?  Destruction for the hell-of-it is kind of sickening to watch.

Guys! Come on! First It’s racing and they are celebrating something really big after a shitload of works from all the Team during a big season, they deserved it! Second it’s a motorcycle, it’s not a living animal, it’s made of parts and to say all this comment you have no idea how much engine and parts they swap on this bike in only one season, This is not the OEM engine that came on the bike, they have 3-4 copy of that engine in the rig! This is a Ritual!!

I accept that I am now an old fart and just like my Granddaddy had no clue why I did the senseless things that I did- but I am now wearing those same coke-bottle lenses that he wore. I also told my self I'd never wear velcro-strap shoes so that I didn't have to bend over and tie my laces, but I've come to embrace no-hands needed slip-on shoes.

So I guess being able to blow up a bike for being winning a championship is awesome now-a-days-- but this old fart simply doesn't get it at all and what I'd do to be in my 20's again and go enjoy riding a bike like that out on the track instead.

I'll never understand this "blow up the bike" thing. I mean why? It's a living breathing thing and you want to kill it. A burn-out is one thing, but this is just ridiculous. I'll never and have never liked this.

           I enjoy watching Deegan race, but the whole “ Blow up the bike” thing is tough for  me to understand. If it was my bike, I would rather remove the engine and mount it on a plaque.
