My guess is that Tomac is retiring from motocross and going supercross only, including World SX. World SX teams are not announced until end of May (I think). I know you all think I'm crazy, but great time to get in on ground floor.

I'm thinking that he hasnt re-signed because he plans on retiring after sweeping this season!!

He's riding for an unannounced electric company. The AMA have given approval for an EB to complete a season to promote Green Energy as most Manufacturers will have to commit to GE to stay relevant. He's a former champs. Paid his dooz and signing a big cwypto contwact. That's what I reckon. Ya dogs.

If Jeremy McGrath could run the 1993 frame through and up to 1997 before leaving Honda, why can’t Eli run the 2022 frame?

1993-1996 Honda CR250R was basically the same generation of motorcycle. Even though there were updates, all the bodywork and look of the bike carried over so it wasn't a big deal. At this moment we're talking about an incoming all-new YZ450F 2023 model, which means there's a high change the 22 frame wouldn't fit or work in conjunction with the majority of these new components.

If the ‘22 model was still homologated, could he not ride it? I know Yamaha would really frown on it but that could be an option if it became a deal breaker, no?

Dude no factory backed team is going to sign somebody to publicly announce, week after week, that they prefer the old model to the new ones on the dealership floor.
