8 minutes to properly answer 3 questions. No doubt that a written response would have taken much longer.

I like the video format and can understand why you would want to go that route. My suggestion would be to read the questions ahead of time and formulate your response before doing the video. You came off a little unprepared. Maybe you were going for a 1st response, gut reaction type thing to each question?

I can read it in 10% of the time it takes to listen/watch it. I way prefer the written. Dame thing for the pulpmx show. You have to listen for three hours to get 15 minutes of intersting shit

I like it--but I could enjoy it in either manner served. The true test is when you get a real meathead email that begs for your signature "shots fired" responses; I'm dying to see how much of those are crafted to perfection by being able to take your time wile writing responses vs. how easily they slide out on the fly. Either way, I'm here for the long haul.

Yep, I prefer the printed word as well. I don't have time for this video at work. I'm sure it's great, but I can't really be pretending to work when I watch it.

Exactly this. Ask Ping is a place I visit often whilst taking a break in the office. This format just doesn't work for me. Ping's sarcasm/humour is also missing slightly which takes away one of the reasons for my visit.

I'm a fan of the sarcastic asshole backhanded humor. Didn't come across in the video, therefore I prefer the long hand. Unless you can be more assholie(no, assholey, no, asshole'y, whatever) next time.

Video format is cool. My only concern is that maybe the responses from Ping might be more subdued on a video format. One thing I have always liked are the witty, blunt, and sometimes maybe a little snarky (but always well written) responses that make @Ping great. As long as Ping still goes Full Pingree when needed, I think it will be great!
