Nathan Alexander: A Mechanic's Journey 10

Ever wonder what the life of a factory race team mechanic is like? Like most fans on race day, we glare enviously at mechanics as they fine-tune their machine before hitting the track. However, as with everything in life, there is more to it than meets the eye.

Nathan Alexander has worked with the likes of Darryn Durham, Ryan Morais, Bobby Kiniry, and most recently Chaparral Honda's Andrew Short. After spending the 2012 outdoor National campaign alongside Short, Alexander, like the rest of his team was prepared for a long and promising 2013. Unfortunately, only a few races into the 2013 Supercross season, Chaparral Honda closed its doors, leaving Nathan and the crew jobless.

Nathan Alexander gave us an open and honest look into his past, present, and future. And, most importantly, inspiring us (and hopefully you) to always chase your dreams and aspire to be the best at whatever it is you do, no matter the obstacles that lay ahead of you.

Good luck Nathan, will be praying that the perfect fit will come your way. If some one offers something that sounds to good to be true, it probably is. But, If you don't trust and have faith, you may miss opportunities. Sometimes a tough call, to follow a dream. Enjoy the journey.

Is the steering stem bearing a factory part? Different design than other bikes.
